logo poll

please folks, i need your help.

i’ve been poncing around in photo shop for the past almost 2 weeks, trying to come up with a logo for the label of the new line of dresses i’m making. and i’ve been struggling to finalize the design. now here’s the disclaimer.

i am not a designer. i doodle and yes, i’ve even created logos for other people, but i only have a vague idea of what i’m doing. i hand-lettered the design, then scanned and tweaked and tweaked and tweaked in phot0-shop. so please, any constructive input would be much appreciated. this will go on the label of the dresses and possibly on swing-tags, letter-heads, etc. i also have a much simpler design consisting only of the letters, but that doesn’t convey the funky nature of the dresses or the essense of *sass*.

C with text extended at the base, but no star

D the text only, but i don’t know.

I’ll be like one of those irritating restaurant patrons: I like menu option A, but can it come without a star? I’m on a diet.
Second option is D- it does depend on the style of your your designs- evening wear/casual/etc. Actually, I think D is the best.
Crap. I’m terrible at decisions.

I like C, cos I find the star abit distracting, it turns my attention from the word

thanks for your responses guys (though interestingly, only 7 comments out of about 40 or more views…). so far it seems B wins out with 3 votes, C gets 2, A gets 1&1/2 and D gets 1/2 (what with scott splitting his vote!)
